I'm a half-uncle myself.

My dad's previous marriage resulted in children who have grown up and had children of their own.

I came from one of my dad's later marriages (lol) and because my half-siblings had kids... I was a half-uncle at birth even. >_>

I'm a half uncle too. But I didn't become one until about 4 years ago, when I was 9.
