I seem to like cartridges more.

-Recently have become very compact, look at a DS game
-You don't have to worry about scratches and poop
-Saves the data in the same place as the game, rather then on a seperate memory
-Retro  8)

The only disadvantages is that it costs more to make than a disc, and the graphics aren't as good. But who gives a intercourse , DS graphics are great.

cartridges, but only because they're retro.  CDs are better in every other way.

Touching a disc the wrong way is like trying to pound beef with a newborn baby's head, so I'm gonna go with cartridges, just because they're tougher.

Discs are cheaper to make and have more space. Only idiots need to worry about scratches.

Still, I wouldn't mind having games on SD cards.

RedYoshi

Cartridges because they are very stable. My NES and SNES games still work and I've dropped a couple before. Discs can get a tiny little scratch and won't work at all. They are a higher maintanance to clean and can break easily. They should go back to the cartridges if you ask me.
Will edit sig later...:P

Digital Distribution for games.

I don't have to worry about scratching discs or carts getting too dusty.

Hard Drive Failure.

Games being saved to an account over the 'net. Don't have to worry about HDD failure, I can just redownload games.

Hmm... Dial-Up.

I like cartridges. You don't have to worry about scratching them or fingering them up, and no disc read errors. :)
