"What?" Jake asked, looking between the two of them as he brung up the rear. "Eh, nevermind. Hey, doc, could you check out Karizo? He says he was attacked or something, and can't wake up!" I wonder what got him into that state? Jake wondered nervously.

Kyle looked back, and saw Karizo. He then sighed. "We should bring him back to the lab," He said, heading back down the basement. "But first, I want a look at the generator..."

"Why's that?" He said letting go of Karizo forgetting he couldn't stand up for himself as he fell back to the floor. "Oh...opps, sorry!" He then walked over to Kyle. "Is there something you forgot?"

"I got bit by a Pikachu, right?" Kyle asked Matt. "If that's so, then maybe I inherited some of its traits. I might have the power to start the generator back up again; if only for a little bit. It's a stretch, but it just might work."

Alex had been still sitting on the floor by the steps since the group came and took Karizo away. Upon hearing kyle talking to Matt, He said quietly, "I could probably do it by myself..."
