Pokemorph: Infection

"Yay!" said Lily and proceded to slap him as hard as she could, which was actually very hard.

Kyle remained in a state of unconciousness, his body unmoving. His spirit, however, was thriving. Blood pressure, regular. Pulse; 86. Yes... no signs of anything out of the ordinary. My coughing had nothing to do with it. A mix of stress and the virus, prehaps? Maybe the virus affects others in different ways... yes, that's probably it.

Karizo still sat there at the edge of the water, wondering when they would finally get to wake him up. Whoever had done this to him might have thought that he was a Pokemorph as well. But he wasn't. He just showed up at the wrong place at the wrong time.

"But..." He began to think out loud to himself. "There might possibly be a reason why this is happening, and why this is happening at the time it is... A reason that isn't clear yet... Dang, I'm so confused..."

[Light]

Kyle was lying down on a rocky surface. 'There's another presence here,' he thought. 'I wonder who it might be...'

[Wolfpika]

"I'll go get the sleeping bags." Spike followed the lights back to his sleeping quarters and found a few bundled up, soft sleeping bags in white, blue, black, and red.

For some reason, Karizo could suddenly hear what sounded like breathing back behind him. He turned around and saw what appeared to be a figure laying on the ground a ways back toward where he had come up through the underwater cave. The light from the lake couldn't quite reach that far back.

"Hey... Is anyone back there?" Karrzo shouted to see where it really was a person or not.

[Light]

"Ah, hello," Kyle said, still lying down. He could hear the presence come closer, but he still couldn't see, or feel most of his body.

"Ok, the black sleeping bag is mine, so somebody take one and place Kyle on it so he doesn't have a headache." Spike said after coming back with the bundles. He laid one down and got in it.

"So who's taking the first watch?"

Karizo was walking towards him, and as he got closer, he could see that it was indeed a person. He ran over to see who exactly it was, and then he realized that it was the doctor from earlier.

"Whoa, hey, are you all right?" Karizo asked hastily as he then ran over and bent down next to him.

[THEBIRD]

Jake popped up where the others where, food in his hands. "I was gettin' some food, I just figured we'd get hungry during the op-" he stopped and looked at the unconcious doctor. "Oh no... That can't be good." Wait... I'm picking up a feed from them... His mind slowly drifted, and he got a clear vision of the two at the cave. He was there as well, but only as a blur of his image.

Karizo looked up and saw him.

"Jake?" Karizo said a bit confused. "What's going on out there? The doctor just showed up here, and I don't know why."

[THEBIRD]

"He fainted, I think," Jake replied. "I left for a second, and then all this happened! It looks like the virus is worse than any of us could have imagined..."

[Dr.Hobo2]

Matt saw that Jake had entered. "Jake! I'm so glad to see you. I was hoping you could talk to-..." He then noticed that Jake was already talking to Karizo. "Ah, nevermind then."

[Wolfpika]

"My question has not been answered!"

[Dr.Hobo2]

"Oh, right. I suppose I'll take the first shift." Matt said. "I normally stay up late anyways."
