Who is the most broken character? (spoilers)

None of them, It depends if your good with them imo.

Some characters, especially Pit, are very broken.


Lucas.
His U-Smash is far too powerful and it basically hits anything around him, in the air or not.
It can even hit you if your standing next to him.
He also has aerials that are overpowered, and his PK thunder is really strong and actually has knockback.

Opinions can't be wrong though.  :'(

Can you counter attack Lucas's moves? If so then why should it be a problem, it shows that you know how to use that character or defend against them.

And I also said IMO.
Showing skill is fine and good, but when the move is such a nuissence that it can hardly be countered, we have a problem.
Like, if someone in this thread (not saying who) charges it up, and I go in for an attack, the hit box is so large it will bring me into the attack when Im on the ground.
No move should have the much power, range, and knock back.
Therefore, it is broken or at least over-powered.

It probably is over-powered, but that move has a good amount of lag.

I can't complain though, I love that move. <3

I'd say Pit or Lucas.
Lucas is way too powerfurl for someone with his speed, not to mention every move is too powerful. His upsamsh I can understand, but do all his arials and PK Thunder need to be that powerful?
Pit is probably the cheapest with angel ring/arrows/insane recovery...
I mean being good is one thing, but to put everyone else at a disadvantage at the same time is kinda unfair X_X;;

I'm only really good with Lucas cuz I trained really hard with ness in melee so i could be good with him.
There's a certain weakness Lucas has. Some of his attacks like hs up smash, PK freeze, PK Fire, if you dodge them he's wide open. And he can only use his standard moves and smashes if his opponent is close range. If the opponent is close range, lucas's move selection is very limmited. Sure Lucas is a bit broken, but every character has their weaknesses. Psst... When I decided I wanted to use Lucas in brawl in like december, i didn't know he was gonna be a little broken. same thing with pit. i don't use supposedly cheap characters on purpose.

I know how to use Yoshi.  I've been a Yoshi main since the '64 days.  He still sucks in comparison to nearly every single character in the game.  he's still awful, which is why I'm switching to a darn better character this time around, not being restricted by the dino once again.

in brawl i'm better with yoshi than I was in melee. His special moves and ariels seem to have more power now. i find his egg throw and egg roll quite useful now. His FS is pretty cool too. there's weaker FS's out there. yoshi's one of my best and favorite characters to use. do not insult yoshi, or he just might eat you. ;D

I was rape with yoshi in melee... now I can barely use him.  the loss of DJC helped him in some ways, but mostly hurt him.  you can't play any mindgame with him anymore, and considering how he barely improved in comparison to everyone else's improving with the new physics, he was left really really far behind.

you can't drop eggs anymore, his Aerial Down A does about half damage, and he STILL can't jump out of his shield, meaning that if someone is pummelling you with projectiles, all you can do is sit there and take it.

eggs are nowhere near as spammable, and because of the way they coded it this time, you can't do ledge-cancelled eggs.  he still has bad recovery (although he's even more of an edgeguarding god), the side B still sucks (even though it cancels all attacks, it doesn't change the fact that it was a horrible move in the first place) and his tongue is the only tether grab in the game that doesn't double as a tether recovery.

I mean, really.  Why can Lucas' rope snake hold lucas as a tether recovery, but Yoshi's Tongue can't?

his combo ability has died a bit.


at the same time, his tail got major buffs.

overall, Yoshi is buffed, but the rest of the characters were buffed enough that he still firmly establishes the bottom of the barrel.
