I largely agree with your list.  the only ones I'd say that I'd play on within that list are warioware & pictochat, because really their changes aren't that annoying or obtrusive (aside from if you win at a warioware game and get invincibility :P) but I don't play on those stages very often anyways.  I've never liked battlefield, and lylat cruise kinda seems boring to me, aside from having an awesome background.

I love the ship stage though.  that one's the best. :)

My favorite stages are Spear Pillar, Luigi's Mansion, Pirate Ship, and Delfino Plaza.

As for stages, I hate Pictochat and New Pork City the most.  Of course, I'll go on any stage (I love going on 75m to annoy the heck out of my cousins  :) ) with any character and any items.  I like to enjoy the game, not play with one main on FD with no items all the time.

And I'm not as big of a noob as I may sound:  I won the Game Stop midnight tourney in my town, and, while this might not mean much, I was a pretty good match for Triforce_Luigi a couple minutes ago.

I don't mind that stage. The screen-flippage is annoying, but sometimes people will mess up if they don't know whats going on.
