Is It That Hard To Understand Imports

I was thinking of importing some stuff, but is it really that bad to play in Japanese.

depends what kind of game.  If it's an action or rhythm-action game or something where you don't really need to understand the text, you'll be fine, but for something like an RPG you won't get the full effect without subtitles.

If it's Pokemon, you will.

Any other RPG is probably too complex for that.
