iPods are pretty, and that's it. iTunes is a poopty media program. The only thing I've ever had use with on any Apple product was Garageband, and I only used that for fun.

Look, what I'm quite tired of is people arguing about mp3 players in the first place. iPod or Zune, there's not much of a difference when you get right down to it. They've both got problems and pluses, and they're both portable media players.

And yes, every portable media player is indeed a portable media player. Some people think looks are everything, others realize that there's more to it than looks.

Yeah, WMP opens pretty quickly for me too. I just don't use WMP because of my iPod.

Yeah, WMP opens pretty quickly for me too. I just don't use WMP because of my iPod.

WMP opens much faster than iTunes.

Winamp takes about as long to load as Firefox does, for me at least.

WMP isn't that bad, I simply perfer Winamp. The only reason I have iTunes is because I have an iPod, and the only reason for that is because I was too lazy to go show my mom something cheaper and easier to use than an iPod, with the same memory capacity as what I was getting...

iPods and iTunes are both terrible, for numerous reasons.
iPods are for preppy girls, mostly, and iTunes is just a horribly written program.
I love my Sansa Connect, though. <3

Really Kaz, the Zune software plays more things than WMP does by itself, but I don't use it as my main media player because, it sucks.

WMP plays everything (with the CCCP installed at least, but everyone should have that), and seems to manage media better than anything else I've used before; besides mp3tag, but that's a seperate program just for editing the tags in the files. (It doesn't play music, just opens your default player)

Meh, iTunes may suck especially due to all the blocking of files...
But I use an iPod and it plays music so I could care less.
And I don;t need portable videos, so a 2 GB nano is perfect for me.

And iTunes takes maybe 20 seconds to open for me...
