My brother named his Pokemon trainer Cher once (this is in red version) He also had Dr. Phil and Oprah and he named his "rival" Countless names which I shall not mention.

Oh, uh.. in Golden Sun... I named Isaac as my own name the first time I played it.  That made things confusing when I first started 'cause they said Kyle so many times and I later found it was the name of the main character's father as well.. so the intro really had me lost for a while. @_@

In a FF game, I named the party after myself, two best friends, and my brother.  I made my brother the thief/ninja 'cause my brother is a thief and thinks he's a stupid ninja..

I guess that's everything.  Usually I just stick with the main character's name.. usually.
