Wow...this guy cares about the store more than someone else's life...It's not easy being the one to interrogate people.

Jonathan pulled out the handle of the former bat and stared at it for a moment.

"Whoa..."

[THEBIRD]

Mary nodded, grabbed the dowel, and began crushing the powder for Mira.

[Max Headroom]

Mira entered room 001. "Hello? Anyone in here?"

[Triforce_Luigi]

((You mean Room 003?))

Jonathan looked up at Mira when he entered.

"Uh... Look at this," he said, holding up the bat fragment.

[Max Headroom]

((Yes, I did >.>; ))

"I see..... Well bring everything you find to the lobby so we can get extract the fingerprints (if any) from the bat, alright?"

[Triforce_Luigi]

"Alright," said Jonathan, heading out of the room to the lobby.

[Max Headroom]

Mira also went to the lobby. "How's the powder coming?" Mira asked Mary.

[THEBIRD]

Mary Wright had just finished crushing the powder when she saw Jonathan and Mira. "I think it seems crushed enough. I'm pretty good at crushing, since I do a lot of it in cooking."

Then, she turned to Jonathan and said, "I've got something for you from the Mayor." She took one of the cell phones from her box out and handed it to him. "It can't make any calls, but it can recieve them. And it's got internet access. Mayor Scotch wanted you to have it in case he needed to speak with you quickly."

"The only problem I have with that is the inability to contact the other detectives. Well, let's get the fingerprinting started." Mira said, as he took the brush and put it in the powder, then gently brushed the pill bottle to see if there are any fingerprints.

[THEBIRD]

Fingerprints were present on the bottle. There were two sets of them.

Jonathan took the phone and set the bat on Mary's desk/workplace. He placed the phone in his pocket and observed the fingerprinting process.

[Max Headroom]

"I see...." Mira took out a sheet of glossy paper and applied it to the fingerprints, applying pressure so the fingerprints would be transfered onto the paper. "As far as I can tell, these fingerprints indicate a transaction from the store clerk and the victim. I may be wrong, so I'm going to try to get the victim's fingerprints first..... Urmmmmm.... Does anyone have something like a sponge?"

((Did Mira even buy a sponge? X( ))


"Either way." Mira took out a pen and labeled the fingerprinted paper with the words 'pill bottle', then began the same process, but for the bat.

[THEBIRD]

(( No, he didn't D: ))

"There are sponges in the bathroom. Just get one from Sage's room," Mary replied as she watched the process being done yet again to the bat handle with anticipation. "Wow, we were lucky to get the handle of the bat. That's where it is actually held from."

The bat had two sets of fingerprints on it.

"The bat was under the bed... Why would it be in such an obvious hiding place if the killer was trying to hide it?" wondered Jonathan to himself. Suddenly, he remembered something. "Hey, do you people have anything that could be used for an autopsy?"
