Alex walked up to Mary, and asked, "Excuse me, but is there a chair I can borrow?"

[THEBIRD]

"A chair?" Mary asked. "Um, sure." She pointed to the few that were in the lobby. "As long as you put it back. And may I ask, why?"

"I think he's 18. Lord knows how I constantly find him with beer..." Michael sighed. "As for a girl coming in here to buy sleeping pills? Madam Rosina, perhaps? I'm not sure if it was 3 days ago, but she definitely came recently for them. Zachary's been getting me more clients then ever!"

A pair of feet shuffled out of the way of the pebble. For a moment, a pair of white sneakers and baggy blue jeans could be seen, but then they went right back into the shadows. A stone then went flying at Mira, followed by snickering.

Oh...18 so maybe he could have some information...anyways. "Has anybody else come in here three days ago?" Nick said. Anybody who came in here that wasn't that girl could very well be a suspect...

"I want to look at something." Alex said. He knew that the woman would be curious as to why, So he just took a chair and took it to Room 003 to get a better look at the noose.

Mira fell on his knees to dodge the stone, then twirled around on the ground to end in a sitting position. "Ok, what the hell do you want?" Mira asked the entity in the shadows. "I know you're there, so you might as well."

[THEBIRD]

"I'm the murderer," the voice hissed in a fake deep voice. "You can't stop me!"

"Let me think... Madam Rosina, Freddy, and my son, Keith. Well, those are the people who bought sleeping pills. Tim Barton also came in for some clothes and things to make costumes."

[Max Headroom]

"No, you can't stop me."  Mira said, mocking this so-called 'murderer'.

[Dr.Hobo2]

Nick fiddled around for a pencil and a notepad but couldn't find one but since he was in a convenience store, he grabbed a sharpened pencil and a notepad and put it on the counter. "How much will this be?"

[THEBIRD]

"$1.85," Michael replied, getting behind the counter. "Would you like a bag to put your purchase in?"

"Stop you from what?" the voice asked. "Getting me even more publicity? I'm fine with you throwing my name all around town. Just know, I shall always be the victor."

"No thank you." Nick said tossing two dollars on the counter. He flipped open the notebook and wrote down the three names.

"If you really were the murderer, I'd be dead by now. How's about I get you to jail for pretending to be the Phantom? You know what, how about this: if you come with me to the general store and no one recognizes you, then I'll forget about putting you away, allowing you to do whatever you want. And if someone does recognize you, then I'll send you to jail. Ok? Do you want to risk it? Or will you admit you are just a punk who thinks it's fun to scare people with some as serious as this?"

The noose was just a rope nailed to the cieling, and the body was still attached to it.

"Your logic is off," came the deep reply. "If I live in this town, I'd be recognized regardless." The kid pretending to be the phantom stepped out into the light. He had spiky, greasy black hair and angry blue eyes. "But I do know who the killer is."

Michael Stone gave him back his 15 cents in change and put the rest of the money in the cash register. "Hm... Are you a detective?" he asked as he noticed him jot things down on the paper.

"Well...sort of." Nick said. I wonder...is there anything else I need to ask him?...
