A what?

????  :-[

I don't really know much about these kinds of things.

Congress passed the Act this year.

It's pretty much a tax refund sent out to stimulate the economy so the country doesn't go into recession (Which I predict will happen anyway when the war is over). Unmarried people get $300 and married get $600.

This can explain better.

I was going to say.  Isn't the US in debt?  ::)  Can't wait for elections.  Get the asshat out of the office.
Speaking of which, something happened and they are expecting gas prices to be from $6-$10 a gallon by the beginning of June.

Please, for the sake of nation, vote for Obama.

McCain isn't AS bad, but he's still bad.

WHAT, where did you here this?

I remember hearing something similar from my SS teacher or a parent, but not as high as $10, somewhere along $5-$6.

Grand Cayman has prices like that, but they don't have taxes.

Not that I know of. But $600 really isn't that much...
Why complain about getting $300-600 for doing nothing?  If you have kids, you get up to $1200.

There's a limit?  I guess those families with the five or six kids are a little disappointed at that.

Also, can someone tell me where this money is coming from?  If it's coming from the taxes, wouldn't money be taken from another thing to make up for that, or is this stuff adding to the debt as well?

It's just being added to our national debt.  Which is currently over $9 trillion.

It's being taken from taxes.

I'm not complaining, I just said $600 isn't that much. It won't get you anything these days. I consider $1000 and up a lot.
