I left my book bag in my parents car after being picked up from school yesterday, a rare occurrence, and she left for work earlier than expected.

So... no book bag... which would mean 4 hours of in school suspension >_<

wow, when I was in middle/high school and if I forgot my books all they would do is tell me to share a book with the person next to me

Man that sucks...I got detention for 2 hours just because I was tardy for 3 times, not even in a row. but hey, I"m in a private school, so difference probably.

At my school, we don't have to take our books because they have another set of books in the school for us to use.

I hate that.
I have 4 demerits in my school and if I get one more I get a 2 hour detention.

The demerits can be for anything though.

3 of them were for being late and 1 was for being late to class on my SECOND day of High School.  :|

Luckily, they erase your demerits every 20 school days that you go without getting a demerit, but unfortunately I keep on getting the demerit right before the 20 days are up. >_<

Ours school is over crowded, so instead of getting lockers we have been in trailer classrooms all year and have to carry everything in our book bags.
