Never really paid attention to it ::). Last year when i found out one of my friends liked me, i had no idea (though i felt kinda bad for him from being so oblivious >_>, especially since we are really good friends). To me, i would view it the same if someone of the same/different sex liked me (though i highly doubt that many of either would), either way it would seem a little awkward at first, but i would try to make that as an excuse to be better friends with them ^_^.  So either way wouldn't bother me, i would really just see it as a complement
