Do you think that this game is too overhyped, and won't deliver like Melee? To me, it feels like they're trying to cram too much into a fairly simple fighting game. What do you think?
Holy crap all my sigs were always poop. Best leave this space alone.

MxKirby

i think it will be as awsome as it looks. :D

Looks like it will be the game to get
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

Fell

I think it's overhyped. But, I also think it's going to be a great game! :)

Spongebob does not approve

FULL_METAL_RYDER2

Of course it's overhyped, just like melee was.

But melee is still one of the best fighters out there, I expect brawl to be the best fighter ever.

Triforceman22

Halo 3 was overhyped.

How many commercials do you see of nintendo games?
Like barely none.
Brawl isn't all that overhyped....
And if it is....
Thats a good thing. :P

VidiotMan13

Nah I don't think it is that much. I think it will deliver and everybody who plays it will like it.
DO A BARREL ROLL!!!

StarWindWizard7

I'll say "NO".

If I say yes, I'm just hurting the game!  :robotveryhappy:

True, very true. Lets make it a soda, a comic, a graphic novel, a Halo 3 themed MP3, a Halo 3 themed 360, and a collectible board game!

TheKoopaBros.

It is hyped; there's no denying that.

I don't believe its overhyped. When I think of overhyped games I think of stuff like Halo 3, where commercials run repetitively and such.

Brawl may get hyped more as it nears its release, but for now, its not.

It's by no means over hyped. If Brawl is just as good as Melee is, it deserves all the hype it's getting. Chances are though it's going to be so much better. Subspace Emissary really has me excited. I can't wait to play it and see what Sakurai and his team has come up with for it, especially for the story. An emissary is someone sent by someone else, so who is the someone else who sen the Subspace Army? The hands? Or the person/thing who controls the hands? I also want to know about voice acting. It would be nice to see some characters that have talked before (text or voice acting) have some voice acting in this game. The characters that have never talked though (Mario and Link for example) should stay quiet.

The characters are something else that has me so excited. Our starting roster is already 19 (ZSS probably isn't separate) 20 if Sakurai's made Snake a starter) characters, which is only 5/6 less than Melee's entire roster. Then we have the rest of the starters to update and then all of the secret characters. Brawl is shaping up to have quite a good number of characters. I can't wait to find out who the rest of the characters are and if there are any WTF characters like G&W from Melee.

Wi-Fi is something else that will Make Brawl so good. If Wi-Fi is pulled off right, Brawl will be one of the best games ever. Sakurai mentioned lag, but only for matches that take place over the entire globe. I hope we can choose to stay in our country or he was exaggerating for the dial-up people. The other thing I'm worried about is how they'll handle people's varying skill levels. Having a fight between and newb and a master wouldn't be fair. So I hope that Sakurai implements some kind of skill system so that you only play people of your skill level (or a skill level you choose if there are people from that skill level wanting to play people of your skill level). Normal 4 player brawls are good, but something that would make it so much  better would be some level of customization. Maybe like have a normal match, then the person that wins can customize the next match. Or just go Player 1, then 2, then 3, then 4. I also wonder what the other services they're making available are. Downloadable content? Mini-games? Can't wait to see what Sakurai can come up with.

What extra options Sakurai puts in I'm sure will be awesome. Special Brawl looks awesome. I hope we get more customization than just what's shown. Besides that I'm sure that he's come up with more options for multi-player and just normal options. My Music for example looks awesome. The music updates have made me appreciate the music in the game. So having My Music now will make ti much better because I'll be able to choose the songs I like or think just go with the level.

Brawl is looking to be a great game from what we've seen. One day has never taken so long to arrive than December 3rd has. I'm sure I'm not going to be the only one to be "sick" on December 3rd. I plan to abandon the internet for a week after I get Brawl. Then after that I'll come online and look up all the stuff I haven't unlocked yet and try to get it all. This is by far going to be the best game coming out for the Wii.
