My old neighbors (before I moved) had a lot.  He would buy them broken and fix them, then keep them.
Did he ever let you play them?

What I really want is a Hydro Thunder cabinet and a Mario Kart cabinet.

I love Hydro Thunder. <3
I'd want an Arctic Thunder one.

I love it when it blows air at you. :D
Never heard of that.

Sounds cool. (no pun intended. :P)

Wait, they have it at Dave and Busters. I guess I'll ride it when I go there next week.
Instead of boats, it's a snowmobile racing game.
I love it. ;D

Sometimes they don't blow air at you though. :(

It's always hard to maintain those machines that have special features like a moving cabinet, air jets, and cameras/sensors. Even games that use magnetic cards to save player data require maintenance.

I guess it must be a pain to get a tub of oil and lubricate every part on the machine every week.

Does South Park Pinball count?
If it's like a standup full size game, yes.
http://www.flippers.be/images/crappy/south_park.jpg
Yes, that is a real pinball machine.

You really own that?

Yeah, I bought it from this pizza shop up the street from my house. The guy who owned it was closing, so I aked if he would sell it to me, 50 bucks  ;D
That's cool, the machine even has the old Comedy Central logo.

Plus, it has Mr. Hankey, which makes it awesome. They really should bring him back.
I never get tired of Mr. Hankey. HOOOOWDY HO!
HEIDI HO, BOYS AND GIRLS  :D

The French dub of Mr. Hankey is absolutely hilarious.  :P

F-Zero AX is super rare, only like 14 units still exist. FOURTEEN UNITS IN ALL OF NORTH AMERICA. I mean jeez, can't people maintain these machines? The game only came out five years ago. :|

Which sucks, because there was an entire cup that you unlocked by bringing your memory card to the arcade machine. Sure, you can unlock it by using an Action Replay, but it would be cool to have AX data on your memory card.

Do you know where they are?

I wonder if there's one around here.

My state has one.

Although I have absolutely no idea where the hell it is.
Missouri (0)
Kansas (0)
Nebraska (0)
None of the states even remotely near me have one. :(

I mean, when was the last time a gaming expo came to the Midwest?
(Just so you know, all you event planners, Wisconsin is not widely considered to be the Midwest. Neither is Minnesota.)

Darn, it costs $2000 dollars to go to Vegas from Missouri.  :(

I remember when we went there three years ago it cost $600.

Tennessee has one, but not New York or Illinois?

Why are these units so hard to find? They didn't just make 14 machines, did they?

I guess it was just a promotional thing for F-Zero GX.

I'm guessing what they did was that they rented them to arcades and then when the new F-Zero wasn't the new thing anymore, they gave them an option on whether they could buy it or return it to them. Most arcades could afford the price of it, but not the maintenance.

There's probably a whole bunch of them sitting in Sega's Arcade Headquarters.

It's in Illinois. That's the headquarters of Sega Amusements USA.
