I just picked up GH: On Tour for DS on my way to Denver today to play on the trip. Is it worth $50? Yes, yes it is... definately buy it if you have a DS and $50.
There are 25 songs, which isnt alot for a GH game, but is nice for a handheld. Expect a review in the written board asap, so I can go into detail on why to get this game. Feel free to read it if you want the game! ;)

Discuss you thoughts on GH for DS! :)

sonicdude164

It's pretty fun for a mobile DS game, but not as good as the console versions.

Tupin

I'm going to get it, it looks awesome.

My only gripe is that there's no online. Which is bad, because I think you need to play multiplayer to unlock a few songs.

Tuppy frightens me with his knowledge of legacy technology.

Silverhawk79

I...might get it. Either that or GH: Aerosmith.

I would get Aerosmith personally; more songs, easier to play physically, you don't looks dumb playing it, etc.

The game is great fun. After you get used to strumming without screwing up (Roughly, one campaign run), it gets quite fun. Expert solos are fun, even if the game isn't incredibly hard.

On Tour is pretty fun, but between On Tour and Aerosmith, I think I would get Aerosmith.

Or you could just do what I'm doing and wait for World Tour.

I wouldn't know since I don't have it yet, but do I have a quick question: Is the game compatible with the DS Phat?
Holy crap all my sigs were always poop. Best leave this space alone.

I haven't tried it with my DS phat, but I see no reason that it wouldn't...

Phantom123

It is. I have Phat. You have to have a screw driver, but they have an attachment you can screw in to make it compatible.

Yeah, this will probably be the only guitar hero game I don't pick up like.
I hate strumming. It hurts my arm because am left handed but play guitar right handed. D:

At first I thought it looked stupid, but once I played it I couldn't get my hands off it. Sure, the setlist isn't the best, but it was better than EBA's setlist (the only songs I really liked in EBA were the rock songs like Walkie-Talkie Man and Makes No Difference). It's very well worth the money and it's the best music game on the DS.

My favorite songs on GHDS are I Don't Wanna Stop, Breed, Anna Molly, and What I Want.

I'd give the game a 9.5/10. This and Sonic Rush Adventure are my favorite DS games.

Thanks to mackormoses for this badass sig!

I give it a 8.5/10.

It's fun, but there are only a couple songs I really like. Spiderwebs, and Anna Molly. The rest are either okay, or not fun to play for me. That Skid Row song is pretty good.

Anyway, because it's short, I lose interest in it pretty quickly. But oh well. For what it is, it's good. I'm hoping GH: OTD is better.
