When it comes to the EarthBound fans, they just like to have a quick laugh and pat them on the head saying, "You never know what the future may hold."

Maybe occasionally pitying them by publishing them and having a joke at their expense to publish something that could be easily perceived as a re-release. They weren't even trying this time.

There are three games in the series. Nintendo planned to release the first one here, but the NES's lifespan ran out.

So, they just took the sequel and tried to pass it off as the first game.

Meh. If they're 2 series I could care less about, they are Earthbound(oh, sorry fanbo1Z, I mean "Mother") and Kid Icarus(just because Pit's in Brawl DOES NOT mean Nintendo will consider him for a future project)
