Original ideas

i had been wanting team rocket to be in ssb
they would be a perfect villain for the PT
just give them meowth and like one other pokemon

Meowth would have been awesome, just by himself though.

yeah i thought about that but he isnt THAT unique
if "jesse and james" used one pokemon each then it would add to the diversity

Naturally, those Pokemon would likely be Ekans and Koffing (sp?).

I don't get how you'd set up the character though.

I still think Meowth should be a separate character. :P

I think Pokemon should have had one character rep from each generation.  Now, obiously, Pikachu should be 1st gen rep, and Lucario should be 4th gen rep, but what about the others?  Here's what I was thinking:  3rd gen rep would be Deoxys, and 2nd gen rep would be either Lugia (they could resize him to be a bit bigger than Charizard) or an Ice Climber-style team of Espeon and Umbreon!!!!

But then the Ice Climbers wouldn't be unique. I don't think they would do that... same goes for baby bros and whoever else :P

Revise Diddy, add in Dixie Kong. Make it so you have the option to use one, the other, or both like the Ice Climbers, but unlike the IC let them be switchable with Down B.

Bad idea.

Smash is for Nintendo's all-stars.
Waluigi is practically on the bottom of the food chain of actual Mario characters. Even lower than Daisy.
Toad, Birdo, Bowser Jr., Rosalina, Daisy, and more would all make it in before him.

Maybe he wouldn't be such a bad character, but I'd rather not see the Crotch Chopper in Smash as a playable character.

Thats a pretty important role if you ask me. If Waluigi was never made, how would Wario play Tennis? :O
Besides, Daisy was dumped by the people who made SML for Wario... who needs a good doubles partner in Tennis!
