GTA Comes to DS

GTA Comes to the Nintendo DS with a modern day version of Liberty City. And you guys said GTA would never come to Nintendo.

even if it's bad it is people will still buy it because it has "GTA" in the title

And why are you assuming it's going to be bad? My guess is it's going to be pretty good considering it's GTA. Nintendo knows when to stay hands off on things and I'm pretty sure they're gonna do that with GTA since the company that makes GTA obviously knows what they are doing since they've made GTA such a big success that it is still in high demand today. As far as I know of, GTA has done good on every platform a new game was made on. Why would DS be any different?

My main concern is a lack of experience with the DS that the GTA team has since this is their first game. I seriously hope they don't try and rely on the touch screen too heavily and make the control scheme awkward and terrible.

Seems smarter to put it on the Wii. But nice.

I'm guessing it would cost less to develope a game and put it on the DS rather than the Wii. For that reason, they probably want to test Nintendo's market and see if GTA will sink or float. Afterall, Nintendo's market is MUCH different than Microsoft or Sony.

All I can say is that it better be like GTA III and not like GTA 1 and 2.

The DS can do 3D graphics, there is no need for an overhead view anymore.

Yes, I don't think any gamer wants to go back to the Overhead view of GTA 1 & 2. I'm pretty sure they won't do the 2D overhead though. The reason the GBA got it was.. well it's the GBA, and if I'm not mistaken it was just a port of the old GTA, not a new one.

in my opinion i think it will have bad graphics its going to be like the GTA they made for the Gameboy

Am I the only one who bought and played and enjoyed Super Mario 64 DS? I mean, seriously? The above quote is simply rediculous. For one thing, Nintendo showed what the DS can do over the GBA with SM64DS, And that came out at the START of the DS. Look all the way to now, more experience using the DS, a better understanding of what the DS is capable of. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as a bit harsh, but honestly, did you think at all before making such a stupid statement?

Or, you could be wrong and they make the game look bad. Because they have never made a GTA on the DS or really even an origional one on a Nintendo system

For some reason, I seriously doubt he was reffering to what the company is going to make for the DS rather than the DS's ability... but I could be wrong.
