Techs, Wavedashes, Fast Falls, etc. I got really good at those in melee. I can't seem to wavedash very well in Brawl though, but the techs and everything else is perfect!
That would be because Wavedashing is not possible in Brawl.

And no, Dragonic Reverse is not WD
Ya huh =0
Nay

QingXin

Is anyone gonna answer my question about Dragonic Reverse...?

HTA!

Dragonic Reverse only works with Yoshi.
Because his Second jump moves him down first, if you double jump very quickly and then use a smash attack he slides.

I don;t remember all of it, Depster would know.

Ya, it's a Yoshi AT similar to melee's wavedashing.  Probably one of the hardest techs in the game on account of the timing of the buttons.  Basically you jump, double jump, and aerial attack, but the buttons have to be pressed before yoshi even leaves the ground, which is hard because you can't press them too fast or the game won't recognize the controls you inputted.  The effect is that yoshi cancels every bit of his jump and just stays on the ground.  If you tilt the control stick while trying to do this, you will slide in a wavedash-like fashion.  I think it's useful, but for some odd reason most people say it's worthless.  This enables things like the melee style run at someone then WD back for mindgames, it enables running downsmashes, running forwardsmashes, all that stuff, even running tilts, jabs, and specs.  It also can be used like the (aaa forgot the name)-smashes, where you can slide a bit backwards and forward smash, but DR gives more slide.  It's basically a mind game tactic, but also is used just to get some extra options out of a standstill or out of a dash.  Wow that was long... (waits for Dawei's lol-DR-sucks  :D )

Squirtle Shellshifting to Hydroplaning is cooler.

Shellshifting is 100x easier :D

I'll stick with that ;)

Doodle

I didn't really know any of the fancy techniques in Melee. I tried doing them, but got bored with trying to learn them.
I sort of started from scratch when Brawl came out. Characters I was good with in Melee I stink at now, and characters I sucked(or at least thought I sucked) with I'm surprisingly good at. :P
YEAH

Depster

DR has like 100 more options though and is sneakier. sides, DR gives you yoshi's DJ SA frames standing still

Okay, I'm pretty sure I've got Dragonic Reverse down pretty well...

My method? Requires Wiimote + Nunchuck!!! On your second jump, do a Shake Smash immediately after the jump (almost in conjunction with it)... I think people find it so hard because everyone goes for their blue/purple tinted GCN controllers...

Depster

I use CC and it's pretty easy with that, just slide my thumb really fast

Yeah, I thought that it was impossible in Brawl I just wasn't sure. It would be nice if you could but I think being able to air dodge more than once in one fall makes up for it.
Will edit sig later...:P

Nayrman

I remember how to short hop forward A Marth spam to start combos. Much harder to do in Brawl IMO...ah well.
GOod thing I main Sonic and Snake then XD

That's awesome because Yoshi is my regular now. I need to try that!
