Sandisk SDMX1 (the "old blue" one you had)
Sandisk Sansa c140

I'm on my third, a Sandisk Sansa e260R right now.  It's good but the firmware is kinda messed up.

My SanDisk Sansa M240, Samsung YP-P2, and an Insignia NS-DV4G. All except the Sansa had broken screens. The Insignia's screen broke in my pocket when I was standing up to change a lightbulb. My current device is a Samsung YP-P2 that I've owned since last Christmas. I would recommend Samsung MP3 players for anyone who has had bad experiences with iPods or avoids iPods like the plague which is what I do. Battery life is 30 hours and I can't tell you how much better that thing sounds compared to the iPod. Did I mention it has a radio? Sorry if this is boasting, I tend to be like this when discussing MP3 player stuff.
Be yourself, everyone else is taken.

That black and green Sony walkman?  I had one of those.  I don't know where it is now...
