I've had both of them and really can't tell the difference.  Well, maybe if I had one Oreo and one Hydrox cookie in a row, I could tell, but they really aren't that different.

Hydrox really needs to do something about that name if they want success, though.  I think Hydrox would be good for a bottled water corporation or maybe even an energy drink (Hydrox...think "hydrated"?).  It would also be a good name for a type of medicine, since many medicines end in -ex or -ox.  But when I think of Hydrox, a cookies-and-cream snack is one of the last things that would come to my mind.

I actually saw them in a grocery store flyer a few days back.  I didn't hear of them until then.

They actually came out BEFORE Oreos, they just always lagged behind in sales behind Oreos.

Yes, you could sell a twenty year box of stale cookies for a lot on eBay. People's nostalgia is really high for stuff like that.
