OoC//Quick recap: Xavier, Nathan and Thomas are outside in the backyard of the mansion inspecting a boarded up section of house.  I think everyone else is inside and going downstairs.  And if it doesn't hold everyone I have an interesting plot twist to bring up...

Xavier tested the boards again, looking for a loose nail or a weaker board.

Thomas looked around and found an old shed. "Hey...I think this could be a tool shed." He took a look inside. "Maybe if we could find an axe or something in here."

David continued down the stairs with a creek with every step he took. "Let's be careful, these stairs could colapse any minute no-" Before he could finish his sentence, he stepped in a hole in one step causing him to fall down which made another, much larger, hole in the stairs which then made the entire staircase collapse kicking up a large cloud of dust.

IC// Xavier heard a loud crash from beyond the boards.
"What was that?"
Xavier ran to the shed, past Thomas.
"Have you seen anything yet?"
Xavier then saw an old, rusted axe in the corner.
"Let's hope this works."
Xavier ran to the boards with the axe.

Thomas followed after Xavier. ...Somehow...I get the feeling that David had a part in that...loud crash-like noise.

Swinging the once was good axe, Xavier chopped the weaken boards into two.
Well that was a whol lot easier than I though it would be.
"Hey, is anyone down there?  What happened?"

"Ouch!" Dave exclaimed. "Is everyone alright?"

David got up. "I'm fine." He noticed a dim light shining through a hole high up in the wall. He heard Xavier up there. "The staircase colapsed."

Thomas went up to the broken boards. "David? Is that you?"

"Oh...Hi Thomas. When'd you get here...and who's that you're with?"
