I went to the prom not too long ago and danced with my date for about 5 hours, so yeah, I went to a dance.

You mean the kind of dances where nobody dances, or can and they play rap all the time and is horrible? Yeah, i never go to those.

Don't lie, School Circlepit would be a great occasion.  Even School Wall of Death or School Skankpit.

Mystic

Our school is half way to skankpit anyways.

sorry.

what i meant was that you can't dance to hip-hop for 5 hours straight.  I'm fine with a bit of it, in fact, i'm good with a bit of it.  but seeing as how all the DJs HAD was hip-hop, rap, and gratuitious f***ing amounts of country, that mad me off quite a bit.

I mean, their electronic songs consisted of about 10, total.  two of those were daft punk, and the one of the two was only added because of my request at the previous dance :|
Yeah, last one I went to, the played all the "Hip and happening" songs, like *shudders* soulja boy. Which I can NOT for the life of me figure out how THAT got popular. :|

I have never heard country played at a high school dance

I think I should be grateful

Well that would be expected at a high school dance...

When you don't like a song, just get off the dance floor, and go back when they play something that you can tolerate.

that happened at my senior prom.  they played poop song after poop song after poop song.  I was probably sitting for a good 40 minutes due to all of the country followed by soulja boy & stronger :|

I've learned that school dances will pretty much be like that most of the time. So don't complain. Just freaking dance to the music and enjoy the DANCING aspect of it.

It works wonders. Just make fun of the songs while you dance. It's better than dancing to good stuff. :P
