I went to the prom not too long ago and danced with my date for about 5 hours, so yeah, I went to a dance.

what i meant was that you can't dance to hip-hop for 5 hours straight.  I'm fine with a bit of it, in fact, i'm good with a bit of it.  but seeing as how all the DJs HAD was hip-hop, rap, and gratuitious f***ing amounts of country, that mad me off quite a bit.

I mean, their electronic songs consisted of about 10, total.  two of those were daft punk, and the one of the two was only added because of my request at the previous dance :|

Yeah, last one I went to, the played all the "Hip and happening" songs, like *shudders* soulja boy. Which I can NOT for the life of me figure out how THAT got popular. :|

I've learned that school dances will pretty much be like that most of the time. So don't complain. Just freaking dance to the music and enjoy the DANCING aspect of it.

It works wonders. Just make fun of the songs while you dance. It's better than dancing to good stuff. :P

I've learned that school dances will pretty much be like that most of the time. So don't complain. Just freaking dance to the music and enjoy the DANCING aspect of it.

we only had two dances ever.  both were in senior year and they were both within a month of each other.

because I live in the South of the North, SE Manitoba.
