I've only moved once when I was a toddler.

I've been living in the same house for about 12 years, I think.

My dad used to be in the Marines when I was a little kid, so we moved around a LOT.

Starting from California, I've been to New York, Michigan, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, and now Washington.  Besides Washington, every move was by car.
I absolutely hated New York and Florida.

And NOW I married myself an Army man, so I may be moving around some more. x3

Uh.. once.  Around the corner and then a block and a half down that street.  My parents divorced but are on good terms.. and even work at the same company and see each other almost every day.  My dad remarried and both my mom, stepmom, and dad.. all 3 of them get along with each other completely from what I can tell.. no bad blood between anyone.  So.. whatever.. heh.

Apart from the pains of being a child in the midst of a divorce, I guess the move was alright.. I got a bigger room, I'm out of school, have a job, and without my dad, I have a lot more freedom.. so my room is decent.  Both my last room and this room have a window out onto the roof but the last house lead to a patio roof and I could reach my feet around to the poles which you could use as foot-holes to climb down with.  This new room just leads to the garage roof but it's the lowest point of the roof and I can jump off but it's not the best.  The back garage door, when opened, can be used to climb back up.  Using the doorknob as support for a foot and pulling up on the top of the door, I can then make my way to the roof but it's not so graceful.  It's useful to have an escape root or a "back door" to my room, hehe.

I don't care much for moving though.. I really like having a constant environment.  Not many things are dependable but at least I have a very familiar place I can call home.. and not always be getting used to a new place.  It's harder to attach to a place when you aren't gonna be there all that long..

I guess I like this place better but I only have one place to compare it to.. and how my life was then and is now strongly affects my feelings.. my old place might not have been much different had I stayed.

I have moved um 3 times. First I lived in Aniheim, CA then I moved to some place in New Jersey, then I moved back to California in another town about 20 miles from LA, and now I'm in gay Massachusetts . I've lived here about 8 years. I pretty much hate it here and I want to go live in San Diego. Even though we have a huge house here and had a small, but cozy house back in California I liked it a lot better there. Southern California is pretty much the best place ever for a guy like me who's into punk rock, skateboarding, and golf. Massachusetts is just about the perfect opposite. We've been trying to sell our house to go to suburban New Jersey but we can't cause the economy is F**cked.

My parents went to Israel cause they there jewish from Canada when I was just 5 months in my moms belly. She tough she had enough time to enjoy her vacation but out I came pre-mature. I was suppose to die (Yeah should of died so you guys woudnt have to deal with me OH I BEAT YOU TO IT OLOLOLOL) but yeah she saw a paper that said to name me "Yoel" and I will live so she did and surprise surprise I was born. She then tough god saved me so she stayed in Israel till I was 7. My brother had to serve army time and he never came back the same so my mom didn't want to loose another son so she decided to return back to homeland of Canada ( where I was suppose to be born, So yeah you guess it I was born a Canadian so moving there wasn't a problem) My father found a good job in NYC but we lived in Montreal for many years until I finished 6th grade so we moved to NYC to be a better family but that dnt last long cause he got fired because with his high pay check they can hire 40 mexicans ( No offense ) But my dad didn't stop there his a good business man and saw an opportunity in Florida so without any moment to spare we moved to Florida and I think were secure now until his business goes into the poops

Southern California FTW

Also, you should rent unless you plan on living in the house you bought your whole life.

I miss my old house, but I prefer this one. In my whole life, I've only moved once (3 times if you count moving from CA to WA and back to CA due to my parents death).
And anyway, I wouldn't mind moving to a bigger house, but I'm fine with this one, I hate moving boxes, packing and unpacking...

My first house was still being built when I was born, so at first I stayed in a cabin near my grandparent's house.
Then I moved to my first house.
Then Down two streets to my freakin awesome second house.
Then moved to a three bedroom apartment, which actually wasn't that bad.
If my dad's company hadn't moved them from Austin while in that apartment, we would've moved into a great new house that was being built, but life sucks.
I moved here, to this meh house.

My favorite house was my second one, but my favorite location by far was the apartment.
