They're really pushing Sonic....but this...no. I was never a fan of this one, one being Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Really, it wasn't amusing. I am surprised it has surfaced, or rather, reared its ugly head.

Thoughts on the imminent release?

and Master System versions of Sonic games are terrible compared to the Genesis counterparts.

These games are pretty good on their own right. Sure, I probably would rather play the Genesis version, but at least they are their own games.

Well, all I can remember was having some sort of GB-looking Sega thing with that HORRIBLY hard game of Sonic.

Same. It's the only Sonic game I've ever played. Then we sold our Sega(don't remember what kind it was, whatever Sonic & Knuckles was on).
