Today's topic of conversation: Scars.

Do any of you have any interesting scars? Maybe none at all? Or just none interesting but have a neat little story behind them?

We'll include other physical abnormalities caused by injury here as well.

-----------------

I have a set of small scars surrounding the base of the thumb on my right hand, almost like a ring, from a dog bite. He almost took off my thumb. I also have a scar on my nose, though it's almost entirely invisible now, from when I was 6. I jumped on the playground and hit a pole and my glasses dug half an inch into my nose. Third, a small chicken pox scar on my chest, and a cut-shaped scar on my left wrist (top side, not vein side) and I don't know what it's from. It's just there.

Aside from scars, my front tooth on top is chipped from a horseplay accident in 8th grade. Running around with my friend Clarissa in the rain in front of school, she was chasing me, and I slipped in the grass and fell to the cement. I caught myself and didn't get hurt, but she fell behind me and landed on top of me, slamming my face into the cement. Small chip, but chipped nonetheless.

Basically, tried to jump down from my loft bed.
Failed miserably. Head split open, blood everywhere, cool scar.
Pic taken right after it happened, because I'm stupid.

It was only a matter of time before Silver broke himself ::)

And I have this one on my right hand from punching this kid in the mouth when I was around 8, I don't even know why, I guess he was being irritating I guess, but when I punched him his tooth came out and dug into my knuckle. I can't believe that scar is still there... I also have one from my brother slamming my pinkey in a door and I had to pretty much get it sewn back on...

Can't really think of any others. I bruise like a bannana but heal pretty quick.

Lotos

On my sides and chest because of some complications when I was born.  On the side, they're indents, on my chest, they're like little white streaks (meaning one on each side).

PsychoYoshi

I highly doubt any of you have bigger ones than the one down the center of my back from my spinal surgeries.

StarWindWizard7

Well, I have cat scratches that turned into scars down both my arms.
(it sucks) but nothing like what R_R went through.... I mean...... slipping/falling......then your teeth hits the cement?!? OW!!!! ........

Oh, I also have a scar "running down" my left wrist, (on the vein side) from a Band Camp accident.
I was on top of a chair, and there was a rope hanging down from the band Class room's Office Building.
It wasn't just a rope...it was some kind of hard/shiny/metallic rope used for (something) I don't remember.
This was like in the year 1998. Anyway, I didn't jump towards it like Tarzan or anything. I just reached for it... I lost my balance/footing but I managed to grab on the rope.....
But somehow, the strands (or what ever was on it) was so sharp as I fell down, I managed to cut my wrist going down.

So just think of putting your left arm straight up in the air....grabbing on to a rope, and then quickly falling down slicing your wrist. Yeah, it wasn't pretty.

Oh, and I also have a scar on my left pinky from me playing basketball.
I got knocked down in the midst of the action...and then somebody stepped on And twisted their Heel on my pinky finger. I even saw the bone of my pinky finger.
I'm not afraid of blood or the site of my own bone or anything So I went to the school nurse, needless to say I was pretty PO that he stepped on my finger anyway.
This was in Middle School, around the time most of y'all were either in diapers or learning how to Talk. :P

Friendly Hostile

I have one across my leg from when I was in elementary school and rolled onto some glass hidden in the grass at school.  It wasn't deep, just really long.

And I have one above my eye from when my brother shoved me out of bed in a hotel in Ohio and I hit my head on the end table.  Ended up having to get 5 stitches, and the lady at the front desk was completely useless in telling us where the hospital was.

Zovistograt

I have a weird-looking one on my elbow.  It was absolutely grotesque when I first got it.  It happened about a minute and thirty seconds into a water gun battle in middle school.

I'm curious how you managed to hurt yourself in a squirtgun battle. >_>

In kindergarten, we were playing some game with beanbags in gym class. Someone threw their beanbag across the room, so I volunteered to go get it. I ran over and when i was almost there, I slid on my knees on the linoleum floor because it was fun, but when  got to the wall where the beanbag was, there was a nail sticking out of the wall (the head of the nail; it wasn't hammered in all the way) and I slid into it with my head. It was really disgusting, and now I have a scar on the right end of my forehead.

Did it go into your head? Or just hit it?

Either way, its not as bad as when I was stomping out a campfire and there was a nail hidden in it... Went right through my shoe. I had to get a shot and everything so it didn't get infected. But no scar :-\

Kai

I've got a small one at the base of my left pinky. Can't quite recall what it's from since it happened when I was 4ish.

One on my abdomen and upper thigh from minor surgery.

A scar from chicken pox sits in my right elbow. At least, I think it's from chicken pox.  =|

I've got a few on the tops of my hands from bumping them at work while my excema was in full force.  ::) Among other scars from work, because that's what work's about: cutting yourself. Other then that, I don't think I have anything special.

Triforceman22

I was on a treadmill, and some vagina cleaning device turned it up to level 10 on me.
And there was a wall behind the treadmill.
I'm sent flying in between the wall and the conveyer belt.
The Clip thing didn't turn the treadmill off either.
My knee caps are being skinned alive.

Someone finally comes and turns the darn thing off.
I have a big ass bulging Scar on my knee caps still, and that was almost 3 years ago!
I could barely Walk at all....

But, I got to miss 2 weeks of school though. :P

QuoteRobotnik: GET A LOAD OF THIS!!!!!!!!

Doodle

I have a scar on my knee from when I got stitches.
I was camping out at my neighbor's house. Some soda was spilled, so I went to get a rag. I tripped and landed on something sharp.
YEAH

It's Zovi. He tends to get really worked up in awesome situations.

Anyway, I have a really small scar on my lip from when I bit on it after I went to the dentist and still had Novocain.
