Heh, high pressure swooped in and wrecked the chinook we were having. So, rather than sitting about 0 like we would during a chinook, we're sitting at -30. I'm not pleased. The chinook winds are mixing with the winds from the north, making it not so nice.

I think you're exaggerating about the high end of the spectrum. Anyway, I do not envy you Northerners (why would I in any case), and I am quite happy with my 21 C. I love the Coastal Plains. Except during heat waves. Around 30 days without dropping below 38 is never fun when it's humid.

Its still freakishly cold outside!  School still isn't canceled!  I wear long johns, pants, t-shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, hat, and gloves.  I get cold in a matter of a minute or two!  I had to wait for the bus for like 5-10 minutes and that sucked so bad!  Its around negative 30 F where I live!
