Super Bowl XLIII looms in the distance, and as the two teams, Steelers and Cardinals, prepare for their meeting we have time for some speculation.

Steelers:

Disaster struck as Hines Ward rolled his right ankle in the early phases of the game. He seems to be able to walk, and was actually put back in the game to test his legs, but as of now its uncertain if he will play or not. Ryan Clark was also injured in the play that hospitalized the Ravens RB. He seemed to have sustained head trauma, but was able to get off the field on his own power. Besides that, Ben seems to be comfortable and the effects of his past injuries remain to be unseen. However, he did take a few major hits from the Ravens defense.

If the Steelers down field coverage is as good as it was yesterday, and if they can pressure Warner like they pressured Flacco, they will win the Super Bowl by 7 points.

Cardinals:

Warner put on a good show and Fitzgerald is proving just as dangerous as ever. Although the Eagles didn't pressure him as much as they should have, it seems that getting in Warner's face is the best way to take him down. With strong receivers and an experienced QB, all I can really say here is that if Warner want this Super bowl, he'll have to go out and make those big passes. He better hope that O-line holds.

Ravens/Cardinals Super Bowl. It's been a year for underdogs in the NFL playoffs...

Ravens aren't underdogs.

But I will agree, Cardinals seems to be defying my foresight. :(

Jono, prepare to be infertile.  ::)

Cardinals win.

So I pick Cardinals Steelers Super Bowl

I'd only care if the football players suddenly were allowed to use ballistic weapons and jetpacks to win.

That seems like something a really, really, really desperate XFL franchise would have done had they lasted more than one season.

There's a such thing?

Even then, maybe I wouldn't watch it...I despise "professional" football.

That would basically be Twisted Metal but real.

Yesterday, sort of. I was on the verge of crying. Why? I got into an argument with a couple other people from #nsider and it got me really upset. I didn't really cry much though
