Yeah, in retail.

SO MANY WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

LOL :D ! !

I also work in retail.

My 1st job was working at McDonalds.
>___>
Yeah, that lasted Long!
Only 2 weeks.
:P
Ugh....

A year or so later, I worked at a grocery store called, "Winn Dixie".
I was a cashier ..... but I failed at that.......so they put me as a bagger/buggy getter.
I did this for 6 months.
It was horrible.
-_-

I think the most baskets I pushed in at the same time was around 15.
I had to line them all up and connect each of them, and then PUSH and TURN all these baskets so they can
go through the entrance to the store and then I had to separate them and put them in the Cart Area neatly.
*Shudders*

Now, I work at a Sporting Goods store, called Sports Authority.
I been there since September 14th, 2004.

They made me a Cashier.
Because I had help, I didn't screw up this time. :D

Cashier to Apparel, to Apparel Lead, to Cashier Lead.

My job title is Cashier Lead.......... I basically have manager access and can do key flicks and
change prices to what ever I want.
I love Power!  :D
I deal with irate customers who get upset over paying too much and stuff like that.
Which is fine.
Just 1 little level below true manager status......
*sighs* it sucks because though I can do what managers can do, I don't get paid as one!  >=(

Ahh well.

When I'm on Christmas/summer break, I work at Penney's. Been there for five years, although they might try to creatively avoid hiring me back this year because of the terrible economy. Official job title is either Travel Advisor or Customer Service Associate, depending on who you ask and what time of day it is. Officially, I'm a grunt, and I get paid as one, but I'm responsible for almost every facet of the luggage department when I'm there. I can also train new hires about the home department.

When I'm at school, I work as a chef in the cafeteria. I normally deal with the grill or stir fry.

Just make sure to be very hygenic while you're doing it so that you don't get psittacosis or something similar.
