-One of my teachers pulled me personally out of class to come watch the inauguration, because it was a big deal. However, it was reserved for kids he likes/have a clue.

-Even though it is sarcasm, I think the fact we're making a big deal out of a black man becoming president proves racism is alive and well. I didn't honestly identify by ethnicity until I went to public school.

now we all know he wouldn't be THAT stupid, and that he just used it as an election platform, but what if he did actually try to kill NAFTA?

ANY canadian business that produces products sells at least 80% of their product to the states.  canadian business is struggling as a whole now, and that would basically be pulling the plug on us.

If we see people as equals, regardless of skin color, etc. then why is it historic that it's a Black President? It's interesting, because women, blacks, etc. want to be viewed as equals, but the first thing they do when getting power is to tell everyone....keeping the racism alive themselves.

The interesting thing is that they're *usually* the only two doing so in terms of people who have had past discreminatory action. I rarely ever see Jews, Latinos, or Aisians calling for such recognition. Of course I don't speak for all but that seems to be the case.

Also, we have a black president, AND a record number of Jewish people in congress...the KKK members in the south must be poopting bricks XD
