The general idea is not to let what one considers impure substances into their body. I'm a tad more extreme, and refuse most medical treatments as well - while others simply don't drink. It's just a way of life.

nope, but only because it makes you stink like poop.  Health detriments?  A million other random things will kill you long before cigarettes do.

The smoke smells gross most of the time, but forcing other people to smell it is just rude.

acid is pretty bad.
it's always in your system and can come back and give you trips later on in life and possibly kill you.
