I also rarely kill in Call of Duty 2 with grenades, I tend to throw too far or too short.

Elites raise their arms up slightly when they jump in Halo 3. I've managed to throw it through the gap without it sticking. :(

Grenades are really easy to aim and throw, it's not hard to be deadly with them, I don't see why so many people aren't very good with grenades.
