Good Lord, today was interesting.

It all started around 10:40 AM this morning. I was in school, about to go fix my model rocket (because it got intercourse ed up somehow ;-; ), and the fire alarm rang. This would be fine normally, our school has been rushing in fire drills to meet the minimum amount the state wants. But, when it rang today, My teacher muttered "That's odd..." to himself, and we followed the normal routine, which is walk outside and wait.

Normally, these things take about 10-15 minutes. When it started nearing about 20 minutes of being outside, me and my friends were like "wtf is going on aaaaaa".

Then a police car rolled in. Then another. Then a fire truck or four. I was a little weirded out. Meanwhile, Ryu was running around looking for his class (and having fun with it), so that was amusing. Then the people near the front of the mass of people started walking forward. Got a text from one of my friends, something along the lines of "we're going to the elementary school". Again, I'm weirded out.

I walked along with my class, annoyed that I won't be able to fix my rocket. Took about 5 minutes to walk up there. Memories flooded my head as soon as I walked in >_>

We were directed to the Auditorium. It's about 11:30 AM now, and I'm really hungry. We stayed there for about an hour and a half. Once 1 PM rolled around, we were told that there was indeed a fire, and we would be going back to the High School and proceeding as normal, which made me miss lunch (bawwwwwwwwwww cry some more).

We finally herded back to the High School, and one of my friends said "Damn, lunch was good down there!" I was confused.
"What lunch?"
"You guys didn't eat?"
"No..."
"Where were you?"
"Elementary school auditorium..."
"Oh, we were in the Middle School. We got a free lunch!"
"WHAT THE FUCK MAN. WHAT THE FUCK" (paraphrased)
"Duuuuuuuude, that sucks for you."

Made me semi-rage, but whatever. Class went on as normal. Then, about half-way through the last period of the day (Biology for me), I see my teacher go wide-eyed in the middle of a sentence. The rest of the class turned around to see what he was looking at, and there was a girl literally having a seizure in her chair. It lasted for about 5 seconds, at most. After that, she was completely fine. A little scared at what just happened (everyone was, but I can't imagine what terror she was feeling), so my teacher called the nurse and told her to come up and check her out.

And that was mine (and except for the last two paragraphs, Ryu's) day.

That, and this one time when the school was tagged ALL over, with spray-painted pictures of pigs in cop uniforms and the words "FUCK THE POLICE" all over the place.

That, and this one time when the school was tagged ALL over, with spray-painted pictures of pigs in cop uniforms and the words "FUCK THE POLICE" all over the place. 

We had a lock down last year. Apparently, some dumb ass brought a gun to school.

Also a few things

1. I wasn't looking for my class, I had no class, I had lunch then and I was looking for my friend who ended up at the Middle school which leads to my second clarification

2. whoever told you the lunch was free was either very confused or lying as it was not free and they just made it sound like it was free, people were very upset to find it wasn't free and some of my friends actually stole their food

And while I'm at it I shall share my story, which happens to start before school...

I wake up and do my normal thing in the morning and I check the time on my watch to see how much more time I can relax in the shower, and my watch reads "6:48"
Me: "Oh it's only six fourt-WHAT!?"
I usually head out for the bus at 6:48-6:50 D;

So I rush out of the shower and comb my hair as I put my cloths on, run down the stairs grab my socs(from yesterday) that were in my shoes and through on my hoodie grabbed my bag and went, (luckely I had my phone with me in the bathroom as usual to make sure no alarm or calls can wake anyone else in the house up so I had that)

No need to get into details about shaking my combed hair out waiting for the bus, but I was quite confused on what happened. But I thought that was going to be my event of the day. Sitting on the bus without my music sucks :(


Anyways

My day is for the most part uneventful until 5th period, lunch aka time for us to have a fire.

I normally just have a pizza for lunch and whatever drink I decide to bring since I can't have milk and their orange juice expires February '09 and I'm not drinking that so I down my pizza really quick and I'm considering going spending my review book money on snacks and the fire alarm goes off. Just like Kilroy's teacher thought, I thought it was odd.

"Fire drill during lunch is uncommon, we only had a ton of "drills" last year in gym because of faulty wiring in the fire alarm" I said aloud to myself. So yada yada normal fire drill jokes get tossed around between me and my friends/acquaintances(and how tempted I am to steal someone's lunch, and hey I wouldn't be the only kid doing that)

We get outside and a kid that sits with me says "Wow, do you hear the bell out there"
Me: "Oh poop, yeah I do, we're going to be out here a lot longer than normal"

I find one of the kids I hang out with in the morning before classes start and me and him start running around looking for "kids in his class" which actually means we're looking for our friends to hang out with. And this is after the firetrucks showed up and after the told everyone that we had to be farther back, away from the building. Then me and this kid see people walking....and FUCK, I JUST REMEMBERED I HAD BEEN WALKING THROUGH POISON IVY LOOKING FOR MY FRIENDS AHHHHHH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT.

Anyways, so we the people walking and we're all like "o shi" and start jogging back to where he was supposed to be...I just tagged along as I had no place to be

Then the kid I'm with gets a text from our friend whom we were looking for "I took a bus to the Middle school" .... Damn, there is no way we're walking there, which I was right, we ended up in the elementary school gym.

Doing nothing but texting and talking I get a call from my dad, he tells me that school has called home(in my case we're one of the last to get called so everyone's parents have gotten a call at this point) saying that there was indeed a fire in the school. Then a few minutes later my mom calls, asking if I wanted to go home, I deny the offer since I wanted to know what the hell was going on(and it wouldn't have mattered, no one was going to leave, people that arrive at the school after the fire alarms went off weren't even allowed to leave even though they wouldn't have any classes, sort of long story on why that make sense, go to school late for no classes that is)

It's been about an hour now which leave plenty of roomers to go around:
Fire in the staircase in the science wing
Faulty wiring
Bastard lit something on fire
kids smoking in bathroom
gas leak(science wing after all, and my friend was telling me he heard a hissing sound there)

And at almost 2 hours we're told, we're going back to the high school and going directly to 5th period and wait there until further instructions.

Get back to the school and it's like some sort of terrible disaster happened, staff all around directing you to the main entrance of the school, teachers out and about, people having to sign in when they got back to the cafeteria and everyone's stuff just laying around, like people suddenly disappeared from Earth. Cold nasty lunches all over and blah.

And just waiting for your friends to get back from wherever they were, the place where you actually get you lunch is all caged off. The lunch staff had left, they're paid by another company up to 1:30, when they came back they cleaned up and left. Bitches. Longest line I've ever seen at that ice cream machine. Then after like 20 more min in 5th period they sent us to period 8(which ended up being only 20 min out of the 40 normal)

There was no late bell for people to get to their 8th period class so people were showing up in middle of class, this one kid came in like 15 minutes late because he was spending his review book money on a gosh darn ice cream(machine auto shuts off after 8th period) The teacher wasn't happy but the teacher didn't have time to care, nor is he too concerned about him since he's got the smarts.

And yeah.

So, almost missed the bus(did I fall asleep in the shower or was that not a 5 minute snooze)
Did nothing in school, because of a fire
Mad hungry because I hadn't gotten breakfast
and music deprived...

(me thinks i went into too much detail in some places D: i dunno most fun i had in weeks)

And now I can finally eat something, dinner be ready!

They've had more accidental false alarms than I can even count, due to nearly constantly working on the alarm system (because their technicians suck, I assume). And every time the alarm sounds, an intercom announcement about 2~4 minutes later notes to disregard the fire alarm.

There was a drill this year, once. Of course nobody moved. About 3 minutes after the alarm went off, they had to make an intercom announcement to say that it's real to get people to move.
Which, I'll say, really proves how effective it is to even have such an alarm :3

Okay.
About 50 people met up in the Wal-Mart parking lot to play "tag".
5 people (plus sidekicks) were drivers. Everyone else had to run to the movie theater. Drivers would try to catch them on the way to the theater. If they saw one, the sidekick would jump out of the car (after driver parked it) and tag the person, then they'd get in the car and become a sidekick.
Well...someone broke a fence, and other people were running through people's yards, so cops got called. We regrouped at Waffle House, and suddenly 3 cop cars pull up. We poop brix, and I hid in the car. They didn't arrest anyone, but they lectured everyone for a while. I got out of it because I hid. :)

So funny because all my stoner friends had to strip. Came out of my class when I woke up and headed to their class and all of them were putting their clothes back on.

I had an absolutely poopty day.

I woke up...late. Very late. As in, two hours late. Then it turns out the Vice Principal was sitting in my office waiting for me...which is bad. Very bad. Ended up having to make test questions on the various government systems for the Grade 9s. Then, on the way home, flat tire. ^__________^ Oh, and when I get home, NS2 Staff Meeting. And now I'm writing articles that are past due. -_-
