What features would you like to see come to NSFCD?

I kind'a like this. Atleast it's something.
NSFCD's most popular member ..ehm something something.

This is similar to that Brawl ID Tag Smashers here (including me) had.

You can click on that persons signature (1 click a day) and it would level up, Or in this case it can level down as well.

And maybe at the end of the week or month, that user would be the Member of the month or something........

For the record, SMF includes a Karma system which we currently have disabled (Boyah and Outsider are forum examples that do use it). To the left of every post, under the users' avatar and stuff, it gives a number for the karma of the user. It includes links to increase or decrease the user's karma. Each user can modify others' karma as many times as they want, but limited by one karma action every x amount of time, with the time being configurable. If we implement any user ranking system, it will almost certainly be that.

Also, chatterbots are way too much effort to program and are only worth a couple minutes at most of entertainment. And they tend to work better with a large mass of users using it.

A random suggestion I just thought of is different smiley sets. Currently, we have all of our smileys all on the same set, and they don't necessarily have equivalents (meaning, we would probably have to make more smileys). If different sets are implmented, there would only be one text shortcut for each emotion, and different users will view it differently if they change the setting. Using an emote set of our own (D=) as the default would also further get us past trying to be like Nsider.
Some smileys could still be universal across all sets. And we could use the More Smileys popup feature of SMF for those universal emotes. Or we could, like Lithium forums, have the user-chosen smiley set typically show for most smileys made with shortcuts like :), but have other shortcuts to show the same emote regardless of the smiley set, like yellow-happy, robot-surprised, blue-angry, etc.
