He doesn't complain half as much as Nayr. But they never used stage props... They used forks, lights, bugs, sparks, water, ice, fire, and giant rocks (and maybe more, but that's all I can think of), all that came out of nowhere. They also used the background picture things, everything else was the audience, and that wasn't much (items, rarely badges, coins, hearts [HP], flowers [FP], rocks, and hammers).
So it has a chance.

I was just playing it recently. I would've beaten it again, but after getting frozen like a thousand times on the final battle and then lost, I just quit.
