Dawei

I'll join I guess. I don't think I'm doing anything that night.

Kilroy

So, um, what items would be used? I looked up a list, and thought these seem okay:

Beam Sword
Fan
Fire Flower
All forms of food/heart container
Bat
Mr. Saturn
Pokeball
Ray Gun
Star Rod
Assist Trophy
Bumper
Hotheads
Pitfalls
Smash Balls
Soccer Ball
Superspicy Curry

Basically, no explosives or things that can explode. Those are the main causes of "cheap kills", in my opinion.

Yeah Hector.
7pm western time is perfect.

Everyone that's joining this needs to be certain that they can make it.
Because we've had something like this before in the past, and lots of people never showed up or changed their minds at the last minute.
And I know how much of a nuisance that can become.

@Kilroy: Why healing items?
Why not just have offensive weapons?

Also, Hector said items that prevent cheap kills.
Pokeballs, Soccer Balls and AS's count toward that.

Food is fine, but Tomatos and Heart Containers are a big no. At least with a sword or a bat you have to have some minor intelligence to use it and hurt your opponent. With a healing item you could be at 140% and then a heart spawns right next to you. That's practically a whole new stock.
Also a fan is a guaranteed 0-death in brawl.

FruitFlow

I hadn't noticed that the fan was in.

Should the Bumper also stay in?
Considering that it can still be deadly at 0 or low damage.

Also, add in the Party Ball and Banana Peels.

Actually, instead of arguing what items should be used and not, (assuming the vote rules in favor of items, which is currently not the case) we should use the items used in Item Standard Play tournaments.

(Sandbag) (Food) (Warp Star) (Bunny Hood) (Beam Sword) (Lip?s Stick) (Star Rod) (Super Scope) (Fire Flower) (Motion Sensor Bomb) (Freezie) (Smoke Ball) (Pitfall) (Mr. Saturn) (Green Shell) (Banana Peel) (Franklin Badge) (Screw Attack) on medium.

Dr.Hobo2

I second Dawei's notion...And I also vote for there to actually be items.

Standard tourney items do sound a little smarter.
This should also include stages.

Oh yeah, I say yes to Items. This is suppose to be a fun little tournament, so make it fun

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

DededeCloneChris

I guess I'm in. I want to play as well.

Dawei lives in the same time zone as me, so I have the time already.

Should this tourney not work, I can also set up a CoD tourney as well.

Setup for CoD tourney? My SSB online doesn't work.

Magnum

Setup the CoD tournament anyways, but make it small teams. 1 Vs. 1 is a piece of crap since it's so easy to find out where the person spawns after you kill them once.

HTA!

CoD was going to be small team Domination.

3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4.

But I'm not sure if I can run both.
Or if we'll have enough players.

NiMa74

I'll play, I guess. If the whole 10:00 thing is eastern.
