Oh yes, I forgot. You can always try the world your cursed to. You wanted a challenge? They gave it to you. After all, that's how challenges are supposed to be: nearly-impossible to clear easily.
That was the only level in the entire game I had difficulty with. It was only marginally more challenging than DS and galaxy.
I really think adding the wall jump to a 2D game essentially breaks it since small pits can't kill you anymore.

Nasty. You use Yoshi to save yourself.

For shame, man.

For shame.

So Nayr. How did you find World 9?

I got all the star coins in world 1 on my first run through, beat the game, and world 9 opened. Easy X_X;;

Remember that you're talking to Mr. Mario God here. He shows off a lot, don't you think?

Fastest Mario 1 Time: 7:14
121 Stars both quests in Galaxy: 3 Days including purposeful stopping
All Star Coins in all levels for NSMBWii: 3 Days including purposeful stopping.

I could go on :D

No that's not what I am asking. How did you find its difficulty. Because you're blatantly lying if you found the last two levels easy.

Psh. That's a little too easy to unlock.
YEAH

I wanna play this game soooo bad now. ;_;
"Many people see technology as the problem behind the so-called digital divide. Others see it as the solution. Technology is neither. It must operate in conjunction with business, economic, political and social system."

The game is excellent! I'm very impressed.
The game gets such a high review from me because they made it multiplayer
(and I'm a big fan of multiplayer games).
It gets More points because you can all play at the same time instead of taking turns!
And by adding or removing players at any given time is also such a plus.

The thing that I really like that I found "Cute" rather entertaining was the enemies and items dancing as the music went on.
I remember standing there for hours watching a Yoshi, fire flower and Koopa dance!
It was so funny. I had to leave the level because I ran out of time. ^__^
Though the game is fun playing by yourself, I prefer to play with friends, so if I don't have anybody to play with, I leave the game alone....
Which brings me to the only thing I wish the game could have...and that's "online".

Similar to what IGN said in their preview (which I agree on this point), in this day of age in video games .... Though it's not necessary, this game could of been better if it was online by giving players more opportunity to play with people.
This isn't like Super Smash Bros. Brawl where things can get complicated and complex, it's a fairly easy thing they could of added.

The creator of this game Miyamoto (I guess), said something that he believes this game is intended to be played with people who are with you.

WHY can't you have both?
Have a game that can go online, and of course you have the option to play with people who are with you.
Like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii! Both games you can play online against other people, or play with people that are with you.
"Like totally Duh!"

It's something they could of done, but didn't and the reason for it it's entirely inexcusable In my Opinion.
Because you know, some people don't or can't have people to come over to play "EVERY" time. :|

As Nayr said a good while ago, "Nintendo is Lazy".

the last level was actually pretty easy (got all star coins on my first try).
I will admit level 9-7 was really difficult, but that was the only level in the game that gave me consistent trouble. 1 out of 90 or so still isn't a good average. The entirety of world 9 should've been near that difficulty.

By the way, do you really want pointless anarchy while playing online?

Anarchy online is always fun provided you have the right people playing.
Besides, it's a d-pad and two buttons and only moving in a 2D plane. More complicated games were put online for the Dreamcast. There simply is no denial that Nintendo was just plain lazy on this one.

Macawmoses

NSMBWii is not meant for online at all. Anyone claiming that it is wrong on several levels.

1. Lag: If there is any lag at all, there is no way it will be fun - the end result will be lost lives and a ton of frustration.

2. Elbowing your neighbours: When you get right into it with your friends and family beside you, it's just intense. I played it at work with 3 others. I played it at home with 3 others. Those times are a blast. You get in each others way. You get the sarcastic remarks up close and personal. It is just fun.

To even think about online would have been a travesty for NSMBWii. I agree it is lacking in some departments, sure, but in this day and age, people are supposed to actually communicate with those around them.

If Nintendo would spend even the slightest amount of money on servers that DON'T SUCK it won't have lag. Again, more complicated games on the Dreamcast did online just fine. Surely Nintendo ten years later can do a simple platformer with no lag

no one said it couldn't have both online and local. As the first Nintendo reviewer with a brain at IGN said "Anyone working on such a high profile game with multiplayer, no online would be inexcusable." Why should we let Nintendo slide? Also, what if a lot of my friends live in other towns? Now I can't play with ANYONE because no one near me wants to play. So much for "bringing people together" Nintendo
