That's what I don't get. Why would you try to find out if God does exist? Honestly, who gives a poop.

Just seems like trying to figure it out causes more problems than just simply leaving it alone.

Because we are trying to answer why we are here and how things came to be.  If God is not the answer, something else has to be. And in the desire to find that answer, we'll discover so many other useful things.

I was just going through the posts and most people seemed to be a different denomination of Christianity or atheist or agnostic, so yeah...

That's just the way it seemed to me, but I guess not.
