Harvest Moon: Pepper Town

"I've been fine during a storm before, I don't see how this upcoming storm would be any different." she replied, taking a few sips of her cider. She looked over to Miles, as if guilty that she sounded ungrateful for his care. Truthfully, she was exstatic that he had offered, and said he cared for her. "But, if the storm is as bad as you say it is, I'll take you up on your offer, but I'll be the one to sleep on the couch. After all, I'm the one intruding." she added, smiling slightly as if she predicted that the decision would make Miles happy, as well as herself.

Keisha wakes up at her own house on the couch. Today she didn't have to go in for work until later, so after she took a shower, she sat under a tree outside.

"Ok, I'm glad.  So the storm should be heading in later tonight, I'll get everything ready for you.  Now, if you don't mind, I'm gonna go to sleep.  You probably should too, I'll see you later," and with that Miles gave Shaelyn and hug and another quick peck on her cheek and went to bed.

"Zzzzzzzzzzzz" Nik snoozed happily away.

Shaelyn gave a slightly dreamy smile to Miles as she left, though she didn't want him to see that she was affected by the slight sign of affection, so the smile faded quickly. She assumed, by the way he acted, that he just wanted to be friends for now, so she wouldn't get her hopes. Though it would be uncomfortable, she would have to sleep in the clothes she was wearing. Her other clothes were protected beneath a lean-to structure that Shaelyn knew was sturdy enough to withstand a storm, which was why she built it.

Giving a slight sigh, she layed down on the couch, putting her head against a pillow that looked as if it had come with the set the couch came from. She turned onto her side, never really used to sleeping on her back, and slowly let her eyes close as she drifted off into a light, yet much-needed sleep.

Nik fell to the ground with a painful thump, but continued sleeping, laying on his side still hunched.

Keisha walks towards her restaurant, wondering where everyone went. "I know there's more people, I just saw 'em..."

On his way to the shop, Lux sees Keisha. He walks over to ask where everyone is.

Dr.Zizmor was sleeping on the bar floor with a beer bottle in his hand, empty of course. It obviously showed that he fell asleep from drinking too much.

Just as Keisha starts to head for the employees' entrance, she look over her shoulder and sees Lux. "Hey..."

"Hi. Where is everyone today? Town is pretty empty."

OoC: Well, Miles was up late so I had him sleep.  I thought it would be a good time for your characters to develop more and gain stronger/weaker relationships with others.  If you guys want, Miles can wake up and stir things up.  ;)

Dr.Zizmor woke up. "Hm...I guess I had myself a midnight snack before going to bed" he said looking at the bottle in his hand. "I guess I'll go to Miles's house and thank him for the party." He walked outside and went toward Miles's house.
