Harvest Moon: Pepper Town

Sabrina opened one eye to see what all the noise was about.  She saw a young, annoying girl walking around and talking to people, all of which she had not yet met.  She decided to stay silent and watch the townspeople.  She didn't feel at all inclined to go meet them.

Miles plated the waffles he had mad for Shaelyn and himself on dishes.  "Alright Shae, breakfast's ready.  Hey, wanna go peek outside to see who's making all the commotion?  Maybe there's a new neighbor in town,"  Miles grabbed his plate and peeked around the corner of his house to see a ditzy looking girl chatting with Keisha.  He laughed as he ate his breakfast like he would popcorn at a movie, concentrating on the fascinatingly empty-headed new girl.

Shaelyn got out of bed, even after being forcefully put there, as it seemed, and walked out into the main room where Miles was standing. She stood behind him, putting her hands on his shoulders and standing on her tip-toes, trying to see from the point of view Miles was looking in.

"Who's the new kid?" she remarked, sounding as if she were a cocky highschool girl watching an unfamiliar new arrival walk into class.

Dr.Zizmor saw Miles and Shaelyn in the house and walked over to his house and knocked on the door.

Nik noticed Miles and Shaelyn. He waved to get their attention, then spun his finger around his ear.

Miles laughed to himself at Nik's gesture that the new neighbor was a few French fries short of a Happy Meal.  He noticed Dr. Zizmor and whispered, "There's a new neighbor! Lookie here!"  Doc, Shaelyn, and Miles all peered there head out of the corner of Miles house to watch the strange, strange girl.  "Waffles?" he asked to Dr. Zizmor.

Nik stood up and, taking careful care not to be noticed by Trixie, walked over to the others. His face had an expression of worry. "She says that we'll be best friends." He shivered.

"Okay, thanks." He said taking the waffles and started eating them. "Hey, how's Shaelyn doing today?" He wanted to be sure that he could do everything he could to prevent anything that could go wrong with Shaelyn's wounds.

Lux, hearing the noise, went out and saw the new girl. He groaned.

Miles covered his mouth as he laughed, trying not to be noticed by the new girl so hopefully she wouldn't offer to be best friends too. "Poor Keisha," Miles mumbled as the four head peeked from behind Miles' house to watch Keisha awkwardly stuck in conversation with the new neighbor.  "Hey Lux!" Miles called to his neighbor.  "Come watch! It's hilarious!"

Shaelyn examined the weird way the girl was acting, laughing her ass off on the inside but merely letting a chuckle out. She turned to Dr.Zizmor, hearing her name being said by him, and almost immediately realizing the subject of his question without hearing all of it.

"My shoulder still hurts, but not nearly as much as it hurt yesterday." she said.

Lux made his way to Miles and the others. "Whats going on?" he asked.

"That's very-" He had a mouthful of waffles so he swallowed it all before talking more. "That's very good to hear but that doesn't mean that I need to do a more detailed examination on you." He said watching the new girl.

"Life has come from space to Earth. Bad news, it isn't intelligent." He joked.

"It's the new girl.  Her head is like a balloon.  Absolutely nothing going on in there except a bunch of hot air.  Here take some waffles," Miles said as he offered Lux a plate of waffles.
