Harvest Moon: Pepper Town

"Oh hi there." Said Zizmor walking up to Shaelyn. "It's a pretty nice view up here." He said sitting down on the ledge. "Wow, the town seems a pretty deserted." He said. "Well...compared to other towns I've been in."

"Yeah, I know." Shaelyn replied, feeling much more comfortable realizing that she had seen this man before. A feminine instinct inside of her told her to be on her guard, being alone with an especially strange man, but that was just instinct. "But I'm happy that it's not a big city with a lot of people in it, because then it would be rather overcrowded and there'd be a layer of smog above our heads." she remarked, giving a chuckle and a sigh.

"You know, now that I think of it, I do like the smaller towns better." He said smiling. "I usually get to know the people there better instead of big bustling cities where people will walk by you without a glance...Or without any respect." He said looking downward avoiding contact. I've had some pretty bad experiences in big cities.

"I know what you mean. That's the main reason I've stayed here in this city." Shaelyn replied to the man, prejudice not even crossing her mind. Becuase she was an environment, she accepted everything as her equal, even people. It just came naturally to her to treat everyone and everything as she would like to be treated. "I like getting to know the people living here, and the population of this town is just small enough for me to get to know just about everyone each year. At the end of every year, new people come in and old ones go out, so the experience is always different."

Shaelyn gave a deep sigh of contemplation. She lowered her eyes, looking down to the rock she was sitting on, a slight tint of pink appearing on her cheeks that wasn't visible because of her crossed arms blocking most of the view of her face from the hobo's angle. "But, you know, sometimes I wish that didn't always happen. Sometimes I want the old ones to stay, and they can't... And it breaks my heart to see them leave." she began to say, not realizing what she was indirectly saying to this man she barely even knew. "I really don't want that cycle to happen at the end of this year."

OoC:  Is this still during nighttime or is it the next morning yet? Because my character is still sleeping. haha.    Don't hurry because of me though, now is a good time for the other characters to develop.

"I have the same problem but it's a bit different for me. I go from town to town doctoring everybody and giving them vaccinations. I really get to know people in small towns who I don't ever want to leave but by the end of the year, everyone's fine and nobody gets sick and then I have to leave for another town. It sort of breaks my heart thinking of that right now." Said Dr.Zizmor still looking down. "But...maybe I'll settle down here. Maybe there will be enough people travelling through this town for me to have enough money to stay here." He said starting to smile a bit.

Keisha sets the rest of her boxes down then shakes her head. "Forget this, I'll finish this mess later," she walks out of the door to her house, and onto the streets.

*Bobby yawns* "DAM, I OVERSLEPT AGAIN!"

"Well, lets see whats going around town" Gets out of bed and leaves his house. *Talks to self* "Hey! There's Dr. Zizmor... and some other girl. Cool! A new villager!" *walks up to Dr. Zizmor and new villager*

"Hey, how are you doing Dr. Zizmor! Is this a new villager? Well, nice to meet you! I'm Bobby, and I run that farm over there!" said Bobby *points at farm* "If you ever need any help with animals, just... let.... me....... know......zZzZzZz" *Bobby falls asleep*

"Hmm," Kei looks at the ground, seemingly in a daze.

Now wide awake, Miles is running along the town trying to capture a perfect photo of a dove flying overhead.  He is running pretty fast, especially considering that he's carrying he's camera and aiming it, and collides with  Keisha.

"Ugh!  Wake up!  If you weren't just standing there like a rock then I could've gotten an amazing black and white picture of that dove!  Argh."  As he starts to walk away, disappointed, he mutters to himself, "How is it possible that in such a small town, she manages to stand right in MY way.  Some people."

Lux was setting up a shop. He saw Miles and put out an open sign and several camera accesories. He would make a good first customer.

Dr. Zizmor just then realized how long he had been sitting on that ledge thinking. He looked to see if Shaelyn was there and she was. I guess we both got lost in our thoughts... "Hey, do you know a nice place to sleep?"
