Seriously, they suck that bad. Normally, the worst you get with 3rd party accessories is it not working out of the box. With Pelican, it can do any or all of the following:
1. Not work out of the box
2. Short-circuit your game system
3. Make your system overheat
4. Render the system unusable

Meh, I'm glad that I've only had 1&2 happen to me, but I've seen all four happen to somebody else all with one use of the same accessory...

My old Madcatz PS1 controller shorted out 4 PS1's. I stopped using it when I found out the controller was the problem.
