Apparently people didn't get the thing where I said we're not having one until I can iron out the details of the new events. We're not just re-hashing the same old poop we used to as we have even fewer people.

If we don't re-design it (we=me) it'll get boring fast. Faster than the last two.

Pretty sure the other topic on a sleepover had mentions of the events going stale. How about, instead of solely leaving the activities of the sleepover be handled by the Staff, we let this thing called a "community" to suggest some activities and events for the late night shenanigans? Having our not-so-friendly userbase here contribute could change things up.

You guys already got poker, and I believe someone mentioned online Apples to Apples a few months back. Who's got anything else they'd like to see at the sleepover? Any contributions at all, even if it's just a forum only thing that only two people participate in. (Psst, Kilroy! Remember Gregg Casey?)

Apples to Apples is out. The software is atrocious. And there are implications for poker that I'm not sure you fully understand. Administration has much to do with this -- far more than you'd imagine.

Holding three smooth river stones, one man must journey into the bowels of Ut'Regiorn.  There they must traverse the dreaded River of Fleshing, were the Phargilans wait for the unwary or foolish to abate, if even for only a moment, their eternal hunger.  The carrier of the stone must then climb the mountain of black souls.  The soles force the carrier to relive life's failures over an over in an attempt to convince the traveler to fling himself from one of the sharp cliffs.  At the top of the mountain sits the Temple of Ght-mangoran.  There, the carrier must deposit his stones in three basins based off of tiny differences, such as age of the stones and attractiveness to the eighteen to twenty-four year old male demographic.  If the carrier succeeds, a great gate opens in the back of the temple. His true journey has only begun.  He must slice open his two index fingers and feed the great Aech Tee Emm El idol.  Only then will the keyboard of hatred appear.  Here the traveler must do what so few men can- he must align two software platforms.  He must keep the forum secure while allowing enough interaction for the dreaded "Apples to Apples" two work.  It is a daunting task, and those who fail join the other souls on the black mountain.  Those who succeed must make the perilous journey back, weak from bloodloss and fatigued from the effort of interfacing with the keyboard of hatred.  Only then could the game work.  The entire ordeal takes about ten minutes.

Lol. I was referring more to the joys of promoting poker among minors. Certain things I'm not prepared to allow on NSFCD due to potential issues arising. Poker is one I won't be allowing minors to join in on, regardless of free-ness, if I'm present, a representative of our site is present, or it bears any ties to the forum, official or not.

Except isn't it completely legal as long as there's no real gambling involved?
I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

Legal? Perhaps in certain contexts. Morally ambivalent? Yes. One of the big issues is violating ToS/etc. of these sites. They have those measures in place for a reason -- my rule of thumb is to follow a site's rules to help establish our own. ie. if YT deems a video fine, I should

Well, poker's just a game aside from the gambling aspect. You wouldn't allow a Solitaire client to be run on a website, would you? (Hypothetically- since pretty much every computer has that built in) In my opinion, it's the same basic principle. But whatever floats your boat.

WAIT. There's this site called Nutsy Bolts, which is pretty much the online equivalent of Apples to Apples. We should use it.
