Geno is definitely going to be the next 3rd Party character. Sakurai mentioned him multiple times in his journal and even considers him 1st Party. That last part could be taken literally and Geno not count towards 3rd Party characters, in that case I'd like Bomberman.

Now that Sonic is confirmed, there will most likely be another character from a Sonic game.  So Shadow is a possibility, but I'm definitely rooting for Rayman to be next.
