I never played Mario Sunshine. I kind of want to.

Easily my favorite 3D Mario. The gimmick is... blatant... but it works very well imo, and it was the only one to feel like one big world instead of a hub with a bunch of completely random levels.

do it

people hate on it but it easily had some of the best platforming in the series

I thought Wind Waker was okay at best. I liked the art style, but the game just annoyed me for some reason. The dungeons were pretty interesting, though.

Sunshine was just silly in my opinion.

Either the N64 or the GameCube. The N64 because it was my first console, and Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask were two of my first, and still favorite games.

And the GameCube was just plain awesome. Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4, and Melee. Need I say more?

I need to go buy Wind Waker. I'll start checking the used GCN shelf at my Gamestop again.
I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

I got a Gamecube and Luigi's Mansion from my friends for early Christmas. Heck yeah!

Now I need to get all the other games I sold over the years... Paper Mario 2, Kirby Air Ride, Metroid Prime, Godzilla Destroy All Monsters (don't you judge me)...

Holy poop! I forgot Luigi's Mansion! That's got to be at least in my top 5 of favorite games.

That Godzilla game hasn't aged well. At the time though, boy was it fun.

It was a great game and I'm so mad at myself for waiting so many years to play it.

BOREDFOREVER

I'm gonna break the thread here and say the 360.  I've had most of the consoles starting from NES, and in their respective hay-days.  For me the 360 was a lot of "This is awesome" moments.  I've had those on all consoles, really, but the 360 was full of them.  I still have my SNES, and I still love it.

But if you came to me and said that I could have one game console for the rest of my life, and access to that consoles full library, I would choose the 360 (especially if you included backwards compatible xbox games).

Nostalgia is great, and I have a ton of fond memories playing FF on the NES, Killer Instinct and Donkey Kong on the SNES, Shadowrun on the Genesis, Tekken 3 on the PS1, GTA on the PS2, Morrowind on the Xbox, and I'm having a blast with Skyrim on the PS3.  I just feel like I've had a ton of those moments on the 360.

And you guys can all hate, and that's fine, but as one of the only people on this forum alive when the NES hit America, one of the few that remembers the debut of Donkey Kong Country, and maybe the only one who almost died when he thought he wasn't going to get Killer Instinct on Christmas, I can tell you guys that I don't give a good God Damn, and I like what I like.
