There's nothing manly about beer. At all. It tastes disgusting and you have to drink like 5 to even begin to feel any effect. A bottle of vodka/whiskey is cheaper, tastes better and gets you drunk faster.

Like any alcohol, beer has its purpose. Also its cheaper to supply a party with Beer than it is to supply a party with hard alcohol. Either beer costs your area a fortune or the hard alcohol flows like water(and if it does omg i'm moving).

I've always just used mixed drinks like jack and coke for drinking games instead of beer... Ever played whiskey pong? It's fantastic.

Every party I've been to had more hard liquor than beer. I went out last weekend and there were like 10 bottles of assorted liquors (X rated, tequila, ciroc and grey goose) and only a 6 pack of beer. Beer just ends up costing too much when you have a lot of people and it takes so many cans/bottles for one person to even get a buzz. While a fifth of say jager, smirnoff, absolut or whatever is around 10 bucks.

Also, yes. Hard alcohol flows like water around here.

I've heard mixed reviews, though. My sister likes to go clubbing and has told me that beer isn't even worth drinking since it tastes bad and takes to long to work; my cousins, on the other hand, manage a bar, so they're all about it.

Alright I've been resisting the urge to say this but...

Anyone that says Beer tastes bad clearly hasn't had some of the harder liquors.

My favorite hard alcohol, 151 rum, tastes like absolute ass at first. It has such an acquired taste that I only know one person that will drink it with me. 151 isn't even the top of the food chain for bad tasting hard alcohols either.

I've also had some pretty bad tequila. I do not enjoy tequila.

Beer is basically water when compared to this stuff.
