Come in here to post all of your complaints about how the high school bros are stealing your lunch money, or how your dorm roommate touches you while you sleep.

I'll begin: A professor for one of my Criminal Justice classes assigned us three days to write a five page SINGLE SPACED midterm. I've been working on it near non-stop since Monday, and I still have one more section to go. I hate everything.

ouch bro, been there

honestly right now my only complaint is that in my physics class we have quizzes at the start of class on the chapter he's about to lecture on and about subjects we're going to discuss in class

I get that we're supposed to read the text before class, and I usually do, but I don't see how taking a quiz before we get the information drilled into our skulls is the superior method of facilitation of learning than taking a quiz at the end of class after we've discussed and listened to the lecture, etc. When you ask him he just shrugs, so its clear he doesn't know either.

That sounds awful. I had a professor last semester who did the same thing for Comparative Politics, and it was the only thing that kept me from getting an "A" in the class.

If he could have explained his reasoning on why he chooses to do it that way, I would have been fine with it. He didn't even try to, though. That leads me to believe that he's just being a dick.

Oh well. That's Uni for you.

Trying my darndest to pull off a B average so that I can go to Britain for a semester third year. It's tough because I still haven't gotten used to university life. So it's not really Uni sucks to much as I'm trying not to suck. It's actually really tough to get your poop in gear and read a book or essay/write a paper when there's no one looking over your shoulder to make sure you're not playing Skyrim or watching porn or sleeping or eating poop. You know?

College life takes some major adjustments (it wasn't easy for me at first) but once you do get the hang of it, it becomes so much better. It just takes some time, patience, and effort. I mean, this year has been so much better than my Freshman year, you have no idea.

That's what I've heard from friends and relatives. Apparently first year is really quite the intercourse -up for a lot of people. What's unfortunate is that my Creative Writing program requires a 75 to go into second year workshops. I didn't show up for a large portion of classes first semester, and didn't study anything for the exam, so I got quite swamped. I'm busting ass now so that I can stay in my program and not have this year be a waste.

freshman year killed me. i ended up on academic suspension and missed half my second year. that kicked me into shape. then i graduated and never left because intercourse  real life.

I'm going to tell you this now: Go to class.
I know that it's ridiculously tempting (I've done it myself) but it's not worth the amount of catching up that you have to do.
