I saw Thor last week. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

Final confrontation between Loki and Thor was a bit weak though. It was usually better in the comics. It was also pretty dark throughout the movie. Still, I really enjoyed it.

Anyway, counting Iron Man and Iron Man 2 that's three pre-Avenger movies down. Now I just need to see Captain America and The Incredible Hulk and I'll watch Avengers.

I am so late to the party. You'd think someone that actually read those comics growing up would be part of the hype train.

Yeah. I thought they were okay. The recent Spider-Man and recent Batman movies were better.

Alright, so; Django is great; The Hobbit was decent; Looper was surprisingly good; I've heard horrible things about A Good Day to Die Hard and so will never watch it (I haven't even seen Die Hard, so); Fear and Loathing is fantastic, but I kind of hate that now Johnny Depp pretty much goes out and plays HST as a Pirate, HST as a Hatter, HST as a Lizard, etc; haven't seen any others. Oh, Argo. Argo was well deserving of Best Picture. It got caught up in "Yarr! Foreigners are evil!" syndrome, but it was overall a very good film.

Actually I've heard that Argo really isn't bad and have been recommended it several times. I just haven't given it a chance.

Both were pretty good! I really liked the cinematography in Fear and Loathing.

Yeah, don't see A Good Day to Die Hard. I was kinda forced to see it with my dad for his birthday.
I was actually disappointed with Looper, I didn't like it very much.

Also Z go see Argo. It's really pro-American/anti-Iranian but none the less it's an entertaining movie.

I re-watched No Country for Old Men the other day. Anton Chigurh is still one of my all time favorite movie villains. If you haven't read the original book by Cormac McCarthy, I highly recommend it.
